HJC RPHA 91 — Modular Performance at Mid-Range Price
HJC's RPHA range sits above their mid-tier IS series. The RPHA 91 brings a genuine composite shell to the modular category at a price that undercuts Schuberth and Shoei significantly.
Materials & Vegan Verification
P.I.M.Plus shell — HJC's acronym for their polycarbonate, glass fibre, and carbon weave composite. Interior lining is HJC Advanced Comfort padding: microfibre construction, fully removable and washable. No leather, suede, or silk used anywhere.

Why This Helmet Works
PINLOCK 30 included at this price is the norm for mid-range, but the composite shell is not — most sub-€350 modulars use full polycarbonate. The HJC lining system removes and washes easily, which matters for multi-day touring.
Modular Use Note
ECE 22.06 certification covers the RPHA 91 chin bar in the closed position only. Open-face riding is legal per EU law (chin bar counts as a modular) but the certification specifically applies to the closed configuration.
⚠️ Verify current certification at point of purchase — ratings may vary between production runs.
